Why Church?

Church for many people is a building or a religious activity people every Sunday. But the word “church” comes from the word “ecclesia” which means “the called-out ones”.

 

The original meaning of church in the Book of Acts refers to the body of believers of Jesus Christ. It is the people of God. In the message, Ptr. Jay will teach about God's plan for every believer.

My Cup Overflows

What does it mean that my cup overflows? A cup runs over when it cannot hold all that is being poured into it. In this message, Ptr. Jay focuses on the last two verses of Psalms 23, the most popular chapter in the Bible. God prepares a table for us. He anoints our head with oil and our cup overflows.

Divine Direction

To be empowered means you have the ability and the capability to accomplish that which you have been called to do.

 

God is such a powerful God. He is the maker of the heavens and the earth. Since He has called us to advance His kingdom here on earth, He will give us the power to accomplish His mission. In this message, Ptr. Jay will explain how God empowers believers.

Be Consistent

Our God is consistent so should his followers. Hebrews 13:8 says, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever." People who keep changing their minds will never accomplish much! In this message, Ptr. Jay will teach about the common reasons why people struggle with consistency and the benefits of consistency.

You Are The Salt Of The Earth

The Bible says in Matthew 5:13, “You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people's feet.

Jesus compared His followers to salt. He said you are the salt of the earth. What was He trying to tell them? Ptr. Jay explains in this message.

Breakthrough

For a breakthrough to happen, something has to break. Breakthroughs will only happen through God's intervention. You need to be humble and accept the fact that we need change. God breaks us so that we begin to humble ourselves. It is when you are broken that God is able to work on your behalf.

Communication Is A Necessary Skill In All Relationships

Communication is important. Without communication, relationships will not be healthy. The Bible says in Psalm 19:14, "Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O LORD, my rock and my redeemer." In the message, you will learn how to communicate better with God and others so your relationship with them remains healthy.
